Infrared Heaters

Infrared heat is the safest and most effective form of heating the body. Infrared heats objects, not the air, thus making it comfortable to practice yoga as well as increasing circulation and helping the body’s natural processes.

What makes infrared radiant heating feel so different than traditional forced air systems is the way the heat is distributed. Forced air can make your yoga session stuffy, blow around dust and allergens around the room, and leave you feeling dried out. While a session with infrared heat feels clean and invigorating because it heats the people and objects in the room, not the air.

Additionally, the rays from infrared heaters penetrate deep into the surface of the skin to detox the body with sweat, relieve aches, and helps the body melt deeper into poses for an invigorating and productive practice.

There are many positive effects of infrared heating panels. Infrared heaters prevent mold from forming on the walls, as it heats walls directly and keeps them dry. Those suffering from allergies feel particularly comfortable in rooms that are heated with infrared, as there is no dust circulation. Convection heaters constantly stir up air and dust, which can easily lead to irritation. If you are allergic to dust and dust mites or if you have eczema or atopic dermatitis this may cause discomfort.

Infrared-C radiation penetrates the deep layers of the dermis and through that heats up our bodies. By heating up our skin our blood vessels expand, and the blood circulation and metabolism are being stimulated. The absence of air currents can also have a positive effect on rheumatics and arthritics.

Infrared heating also enhances body immunity, promotes joint lubrication, stimulates the lymphatic system, flushes out toxins and cellulite quickly, making skin bright and shiny.

Giving Back To The Community

We support our staff and the studio members by creating a network where we share our unique talents and creativity within each other. Our Community Board has room for your business card or the event that you wish to share. We have walked the extra mile to provide the space to local artists so they can place their art on The Yoga Bar’s walls for you to enjoy or if you wish to purchase.

Last but not the least, The Yoga Bar is proud to be partners with the non-profit organization “Mackie’s Place” to support the youth and give back to the community. We believe that teaching youth about selflove and that they are simply enough is what is missing in our school education. The Yoga Bar is welcoming youth under 16 to take any class for FREE with an accompanying adult that is on a month-to-month membership or a one year (full payment) membership. This offer is valid for one youth per each adult.

We feel very honored to play a part in someone’s life journey.
