About Us
We feel that couples therapy is a combined effort, and we use a strong team approach to get results fast. Harmony is very involved in the session at all times and will honestly communicate to you what we see. We start by establishing a goal for the relationship, which will include the ideals of both parties involved. Either my Whitby or North York office becomes a comfortable haven, where issues can be discussed without fear of pain, judgment or punishment. Our session time is used as a living laboratory, a place where we can explore different styles, interventions and techniques. These strategies can be used to change destructive patterns in the relationship and create a solid, more honest relationship. What do we expect from couples as our client? We expect a serious commitment to our job, a willingness to be open when looking at what you bring into the relationship (both bad and good) without being defensive, and a willingness to change your own ineffectual behaviors. When these conditions have been met there is a good chance that we can not only help you get your relationship back on track, but take it to an even better place. A place that you may not have ever imagined was possible, but was achieved by coming to our Whitby or North York couples counselling sessions.
